The Broad Face is situated alongside the River Thames opposite the Tourist Information office and behind the historical Abbey. It is approximately 200 yards from the main town square, shopping centre and museum and is also on both of the official tourist walks.

We serve Greene King beers including Original and Abbot Ale, plus a guest beer as well as a variety of lagers, ciders and spirits.

The main tourist car and coach parks are on the opposite banks of the Thames (approximately 50 yards). There is a small area to park by the side of the pub (pay & display) and free Disabled parking outside pub on either side.

Style of Food
Our menu style, which changes once or twice a month, allows us to keep the menu original and incorporate seasonal changes. However, the core ethos behind the menu stays the same: freshly cooked dishes to order, using fresh and where possible local ingredients. We aim to keep our dishes imaginative and creative incorporating the best of modern trends whilst still offering British classics and world cuisines. There is however, always an emphasis on providing innovative vegan and vegetarian options.

Booking a Table
It is recommended to book a table especially if you are dining with us on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, have a large number in your party or are booking for a special occasion. Please telephone us for further information.

Our wine is supplied by a local independent wine company. Our Wine menu changes approximately three times a year, however, we also have additional recommended wines. Please see our wine list for details.
